Unique Fine Fabrics
Unique Fine Fabrics began in 1979 by Joe Quatraro. Joe’s original plans after arriving in Canada from Italy was to make his way to Okanagan Valley to harvest grapes. A door-to-door sales job presented it’s self so he decided to stay in Toronto.
During his rounds he heard customers say they wanted draperies. Seeing the opportunity, he and a friend started a custom-curtain business. In 1979, Joe turned the wholesale side of that venture into Unique Fine Fabrics which is now run by his three children.The family has worked tirelessly and the company has experienced exponential growth, providing beautiful textiles and accessories to designers in Canada and around the world.
